no attempt made to quiet....grrrr...

One of the most frustrating things I encounter in the hospital is the baby
who is crying in his plastic bucket, the mom sitting in bed, reaching over the
side of the bucket and patting the baby.  I always ask if I can hand her  the
baby so she can snuggle w/ him, or nurse him -- I'm shocked at how often
they refuse to hold the baby, and would rather let him cry and fuss.

And nurse him?  Not on your life.  It isn't TIME yet.

GRRRRRRR.
