As someone who respects and admires both Dr. Dettwyler and Dr. Gordon, I 
hope we can keep the discussion respectful. Dr. Gordon's post was an April 
Fool's joke and an obvious one at that - he was never actually claiming that 
the AAP president said those words. It's a long way from academic 
dishonesty - it's using satire to make a point. And I think it made the 
point very well.
