Flexoril, generic and chemical name Cyclobenzaprine, is a tricyclic muscle
relaxant that also happens to be an antidepressant. It is not
contraindicated during breastfeeding, although it may make the mom very
groggy in the morning. She should watch baby carefully for any
reactions--as with any new substance. The effects of weaning and formula
are decidedly worse than this drug for the vast majority of the population.
Tom Hale might have more specifics. As for the list after your
signature...those must be for the substance the chiropractor
prescribed...not for the Flexoril.
