I think that Lactnet is the perfect place to let us know about things like
this. I did not know that Miriam was a candidate for Surgeon General.  I
think it is very important in this political world to get involved.  We need
some people supporting the family in DC but I also agree with Frank Niece
that we need to know more about her political stand on other things. (I'm
sure they're great) so that our letters can reflect more than just
breastfeeding.  The wolves out there will eat this one subject alive if that
is put as her only atribute.  Politics is a nasty mean thing.  We also need
to get other large political groups that are focused on the family supporting
Miriam, we have the right person now lets get her the best support
