Miss Grammar here.  The way the sentence is written, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and birth-control are all examples of things that give you prolonged exoposure to estrogen.  
 
Of course this is exactly the opposite of the truth.  However, I suspect it was written this way to deliberately confuse people.  Notice that the positive steps listed that you can take to lower your exposure to estrogen do not include these three things.
