Hello all,

As an IBCLC I have to recertify in 5 years, to prove that I'm still worth
being an IBCLC.
Now I'm wondering about the following......does a hospital that becomes
'baby-friendly'
and 'earned' THE BFHI certificate, have to recertify or prove that they
REALLY are doing the right thing concerning breastfeeding????

Or is it just the case that if they are certified, they always be
certified, no matter what and the certificate stays valid (so they can use
and 'abuse' it as they like?).

And is there anybody out there who can tell me what to do when a hospital
'breaks the BFHI rules' repeatedly, but the certificate is already in their
pockets.

Very much TIA (which means "thanks in advance" for as far as I know).
Renate.
