<< Decided to try this new bottle having heard some positive feedback.
Recommended it for about 6 months. Results were mixed but mostly complaints
that much too slow. At first I thought problem was g.a./strength of baby so
limited recommendation to only large and lusty souls - still had complaints
of baby rejecting outright or looking super-puzzled with zero milk transfer. >>

When a colleague and I were testing bottle teats last year using a breast pump under precise conditions, a mother asked us about this teat. At our request, she brought one in for testing. We were using 100mmHg for our testing, which is within parameters of newborn suck/negative pressure. There was no transfer of milk via this teat at 100mmHg; it took 200mmHg to get any transfer through the one teat she brought in.

We would not suggest it be used for the neonatal period when suck is still developing -- definitely unlikely to be useful for a baby receiving supplemental feeds for ineffective BF/milk transfer or an Infant Feeding Difficulty. It may be an appropriate choice for a somewhat older baby whose BF outcomes have been consistent with Effective BF.

(If interested in the results abstract my colleague and I presented at ILCA conference as a poster presentation, just send a personal email and I'll send as an attachment.)
