" Can you reply to the Science and Technology Centers on this post. Using webmail, the list
will not accept my messages. You can quote me that all they have to do is to
check with IPS and the directory has hundreds of small planetariums on the East Coast.

And in reply to the person who wanted to know about displaying Science on a Sphere material, I know the new Digistar 4 system does it and probably others by now.
Plus, Jack Northrup at King Middle School Planetarium in Omaha, NE uses Blender (a free software) and has converted a number of
SOS bits to show in fulldome."

Subject: Examples of Small Dome Theatres?

Can anyone provide examples of successful "small dome" theaters (preferably on the East Coast)?

To be more specific I do not mean IMAX, purpose built planetariums, or inflatable domes.

Instead I am looking for examples of permanent building areas that might hold one classroom (30-40 people) where video/data feeds are presented.

Related --- have any "Science on a Sphere" (or similar) programs been presented inside a small domed theatre instead of being projected onto the outside of the spheres?
