Let us not forget some of our Prehistoric brethren encouraging the 
distinctions. A keeper of site forms I encountered did not consider 
standing structures as an indication of a site. In the formative days 
of many of the regs and data bases referred to in this thread were 
considered of no interest and clutter  for "real" sites.
