We all know about Uxbridge ...

I wanted to tell folks about a very interesting web page that has been
around for a while and for which any historical archaeologist might have a
need, especially if you do contract work. It is a web page about US Poor
Houses and it has lots of links for records and histories, even some
archaeologies. The "Poor House Lady" who is buiding the pages would love
for people to send her more links and I think if we sent her links to
archaeological pages or submitted excerpts dealing with our work and
research on poor houses and pauper's cemeteries we'd be doing all of us a
big favor. If any thing its a fun page to surf through.
