I am working on a dam construction site (three episodes of camps between 1898
and 1925) and have found a few metal cylinders. They measure 4 to 5 inches
long and about 2/3 to 3/4 inches wide. They are capped on one end and have
remnants of wood inside the other. One is stamped "LUCK11/THE HORTON MFG
CO/BRISTOL, CONN"

I am pretty sure they are fishing rod handles, probably fly fishing, but am
searching without much luck for information on the company or other data. I
am not a fisherwoman, so any help will be welcome.

Thanks in advance.
