In 1977 Indiana University presented a concert of works by Bernhard Heiden.
After the last scheduled work (a set of variations for tuba and 9 horns)
Janos Starker walked out on stage and said "Every great concert must have
and encore, and tonight I am it!" He then proceeded to introduce and play
a set of variations that Heiden had written as Starker's birthday present
on a song called "Lillebeluja" (sp?).
