A couple of off-the-wall pieces that include mandolin are David del
Tredici's "Final Alice" and Boulez's "Pli Selon Pli." There are also
Schoenberg's "Variations for Orchestra" and Webern's cantata "Das
Augenlicht." If you know of anyone who wants to mount an unusual setting
of Psalm 118 in Brisbane let me know--mine calls for two mandolins.
