Opera - Saturday at 13:00 the Metropolitan Opera on WNED, CBC Radio 2,
La Chaine and BBC Radio 3 has Richard Strauss' "Der Rosenkavalier".  A
half-hour later on Antena2 there's Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor".
On Sunday, 13:00 Concertzender has Shostakovich's "De Neus".  On Monday,
14:30 Antena2 has Rachmaninov's "Aleko".  On Tuesday, at 21:00, WNED-FM
has Massenet's "Werther".  And on Thursday, Antena2 has Wager's "Siegfried"
at 14:00.

Bach - remembering the 250th anniversary of J.S. Bach's death, Canada's
two webcasters, CBC Radio 2 and La Chaine Culturelle have:  at 8:11 on
Sunday Radio2 has the "Magnificat".  On Monday, Radio 2 has the Coffee
Canata, et al.  at 20:00 and, at the same time La Chaine has the Well
Tempered Clavier volume 2 played on an organ.  On Tuesday the CBC has the
Toronto group Tafelmusik playing the 4 suites while La Chaine has the Mass
in C minor.  On Wednesday, at 20:00 CBC has part of the Well-Tempered
Clavier played by Angela Hewitt and at the same time La Chaine has the
Magnificat and the "Short Mass" BWV234.  On Thursday both webcasters will
carry the St.  Matthew Passion while on Friday CBC will carry the "Golberg
Variations" done by a Jazz Quartet all at 20:00.

WNED-FM - Easily the best classical radio station in the Eastern U.S.  this
station has gone to the web.  This listener-supported station uses the new
program "Chaincast".  If you take the time to download it you will be able
to hear The Minnesota Orchestra on Fridays, the Met on Saturdays (see
above), the Concertgebouw, Wolf Trap Center Stage and the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra on Sundays, concerts from Deutsche Welle on Monday, operas on
Tuesday, the San Francisco Symphony on Wednesday and the New York
Philharmonic on Thursday, mostly at 21:00.
