Opera - CBC Radio 2, La Chaine, BBC Radio 3 and WNED broadcast Franz
Lehar's The Merry Widow in English on the Met, Saturday at 13:30.  On
Monday at 17:30 Antena2 has Mozart's Bastien und Bastienne.  On Tuesday
at 14:30 BBC Radio 3 has Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe.  On Wednesday,
starting at 20:00, WNED has a tape of Mozart's Don Giovanni in an October
Met performance.  On Thursday BBC/3 has the third act of Wagner's Die
Walkure at sometime after 14:30.  Also that day, Antena2 has Richard
Wagner's Gotterdaemerung starting at 15:50.

Holiday Music - on Sunday WNED has a live Festival of Carols from King's
College Cambridge starting at 10:00.  At 14:05 CBC/2 has Bach's Christmas
Oratorio; at 15:00 WNED has more than six hours hours of holiday music
starting with the Cleveland Orchestra followed by the Philadelphia singers
and finishing with a repeat of the Festival of Carols.  On Monday at 8:00
BBC/3 music illustrating the Christmas story, from Temple Church, London;
at 14:30 they have Handel's Messiah.  A half-hour later WNED also has the
Messiah; at 20:00 La Chaine has another Messiah.  On Tuesday WNED at 20:00
WNED has Bach's Christmas Oratorio.  On Wednesday BBC/3 has a
reconstruction of Bach's St Mark Passion starting at 14:30.  Also on 14:30
on Friday BBC/3 has Bach's St.John Passion.

Other - lots of Tchaikovsky: Each morning at 4:00 Monday to Friday BBC/3
will have an hour on his music while at 13:00 CBC/2 will have two hours.
