Pardon my question, but who are the good American women conductors now? In
Europe, we have quite a few excellent ones, Sian Edwards, Claire Gibaud,
Cecilia Rydlinger Alin, Iona Brown (for chamber orchestras), Evelyne
Aiello, some remarkable Polish conductors too.
