An article in the NYT: 'Moonlight' and Mendelssohn in the West Bank By
SERGE SCHMEMANN

I applaud Daniel Barenboim, despite many conflicting feelings about him,
for the courage to put his music where his mouth is. Music, more than
anything (in my opinion) speaks a universal language to our humanity, and
to take that gift into politically incorrect and dangerous situations,
precisely to open that soul dialogue, is commendable.
