Aha...  well, i DIDN'T say:the etno-musicologist is crazy, what i said
is for me it (the idea) sounds crazy.  Unfortunately with that person (the
etno-musicologist) i have not a verbal relation some years already,and for
this reason i just wrote something i listened in a conversation this person
had with some others very interested in this "project".But i will try to
find an exactly idea on how advanced is that project.  Anyway i will
contact with a person who is into the context of the "musicologist" who
actually live in Mexico City,maybe he can give a further information on it.
His name is Aurelio Tello.By the way: Aurelio Tello around 1,976 made a
transcription of the 3rd Brandemburg (Bach) concerto for an orchestra of
native instruments.Well some people liked it,and to be sincere, for my
taste it didn't sound terrible(finally is J.S.Bach music)but it was a
little bizarre.By the way:i never thrust to much musicologists.  Regards:
