I have yet to hear this one, but Davis's earlier Beethoven (2 7ths, a 6th
and an Eroica) are pretty good.

However: don't trust the PG on Beethoven, they're still raving about
Karajan's 1977 cycle (or were last time I looked) and Eliot Gardiner....
