well those pictures certainly sort out one from the other.   I think I have two clear options here.  

The first is to go and buy a lemongrass plant now I know the difference ... and when I have that it is easy to take a few leaves, scrunch them up and add them to a trap to see what happens.

The second is to use some of the wax crud that remains after recycling frames since I have noticed that bees are very attracted to that.

Thank you everyone for adding comments ...  it broadens the gene pool :)
