Charlie, I checked Wikipedia and confirmed that your winter is both colder
and longer than that in California--I sooo appreciate you pointing that out
to me : )

Anyway OA dribble has long been used in Europe in areas that have even
colder and longer winters than yours, so now you've got me curious.  For
the benefit of the List, could you please answer Medhat's questions, plus
the one that I added?  Just saying that you applied it and that your bees
died tells us absolutely nothing.

When you say you dribbled OA,.
> -what was the concentration?
> - how much did you apply per hive?

What did you do to confirm the amount actually applied.  I ask this since
it is common for beekeepers to overapply OA dribble and harm their bees.
