Looking at this and Scotts pictures,  I am curious as to why we think its abnormal?  Looks to me like typical random drones.  In my area I see that a lot when a pollen flows start. ,  normaly when fall pollen starts here (lat Aug)  I see a spike in drone production usually in supers if not excluded.  Otherwise randomly spread usually on the top edge of the bars.


Curious as to how many really think that’s unusual??
