EFSA has delayed the publication of its opinion on the impact of neonicotinoids on bees. It is not sure of the date of publication, but 23 January a representative of EFSA will make a speech at the European parliament's Environment Committee. On the same day, it will be presented the report made by the Austrian Environment Agency (in attach).

Regarding the proposed guidelines for the evaluation of pesticides, the EFSA has received a number of comments so big that they have to delay the publication as well. Maybe in March 2013? To be seen.

Good weekend to everybody,

Ghislain De Roeck,
Belgium.
