In case the pictures are broken (they were working earlier today but appeared as blank space a few minutes ago), a pseudostem is the round part at the bottom of a grass plant that looks like a stem (with the blades of grass branching out above it) but which is actually composed of the tightly rolled blades themselves.
I should also have noted that there is an entirely different plant also called "citronella" that's in the geranium family, 'Pelargonium citrosum'. It smells a bit like the citronella grass but otherwise can not be confused with it.
