Read the study.

It is not a smoking gun but a correlation between high pesticide
concentrations and fewer birds.

Even the authors point out that correlation is not causation and more study
is needed.

Interesting that two of the authors showed, in other papers, correlation
with global warming.

Plus, it has been posted before.
