I agree. The technique I used (when I had some) was to put a few drops  on a 
piece of sponge or cotton wool and with the aid of a bamboo cane,  drain rod 
or similar insert the material behind the bees in their cavity and  gradually 
herd them to where I could collect them.  I kept my Bee Go in its  plastic 
container, in a coffee jar, in a sealed plastic bag, in the shed at the  end of 
the garden.
