I have been working to convert my entire 600 hive inventory to Russian
bees for a few seasons now. I would certainly not describe Russian bees
as having a wildly different management style. The management is the
same as for any bee hive. Look what it is doing, decide what you want
it to do, and take the necessary beekeeping action.

The big difference from Italian bees? Russian bees do not die from
mites every 4 months!
