I doubt he burns them, an old Yankee just does not throw away anything that
still works. He probably will avoid having those gloves around the bees
though. He had more stings than the gloves and only had slight swelling,
many years of beekeeping has made it so he take a licking by the bees and
not have problems, though he certainly will not push his luck.
