Sorry Mike, misunderstood.  Yes, pressure cooking would eventually kill, but
it would take quite of bit of time.  AFB spores remain viable after boiling
at 212F (100C).  Pressure cooking is at about 250F, but I don't know if
anyone has determined a time/temperature curve for AFB degradation.  Goodwin
found that it takes about 5-10 minutes at 325F (about 160C) to kill the
spores.

And yes, the wax does change with heating to high temperatures.

But why bother, if normal encapsulation renders them noninfective?
