HI Bob,

I was not questioning the superiority of sucrose, I was just
questioning any motive for a conspiracy.

I think that you misunderstood my points.  HFCS is more readily
available in many areas than sucrose syrup, and it is difficult to mix
heavy sucrose syrup in large scale.

Yes, that's what I was saying, HFCS is cheaper, which is the no. 1
issue to many commercial beeks.

Hard to add bleach to  huge tanks of heavy syrup--hard to mix.
And no, there is not nearly the HMF issue with sucrose, due to the
lack of fructose and higher pH.

I'm in agreement with you on the problems with HFCS, I'm just saying
that it is beekeeper demand (right or wrong) that make the market, not
a conspiracy.
