Laurence Packer is indeed doing molecular work on bees now.  His lab is
concentrating on the molecular systematics of sweat bees, and he is
interested in adding one or two new grad students to the project.
Prospective grad students should contact him at the following address.
As a former grad student, I recommend the lab highly for anyone
interested in primitively eusocial bee systematics or behaviour.
