That would be a good thing.  I think that the moveable frame hive, along 
with prohibition of traditional hives which served over millennia and the 
almost universal use of foundation have moved beekeeping in directions that 
may be suboptimal for many applications and impeded bee research by 
restricting the field of vision and options.
