I would think there would be tremendous potential for poven queens and disease
free bees for import into the U.S. I'm sure the beekeeping industry here is
concerned with competition, not necessarily the disease state of NZ bees or
the quality per se. My own humble amateur beekeeping opinion...nord zeidner,
