Bill, beekeepers love TLA's.

PMS = Parasitic mite syndrome. The symptoms of the syndrome are sick, sick
brood exhibiting all sorts of symptoms, associated generally with high mite
levels.

PPB = Piss Poor Beekeeping. This term derived from a series of emails
between professional beekeepers in the US. At the height of CCD (Colony
Collapse Disorder) they were fighting words to accuse someone of PPB. The
term now is used a bit more lightheartedly in some cases.

BTW (By the Way), TLA's = Three Letter Acronyms.
