I've noticed in some experiments queens are marked with numbered tabs on the thorax.  Are these tabs generally available and are they expensive.  I'm just mucking around with my queen rearing attempts but do see the advantage of having a positively identified queen and being able to reference her back to sources as far as three or four generations back.

Are these numbered tabs attached by glue?
