In spite of vigorous promotion by the author over many months, I cannot
recall even one person writing in to say that they use Bidata software and
that it installed well and is in regular use to their full satisfaction.
I have, however heard a number of fairly serious complaints. For that
reason I have advocated caution in d/ling and using it thus far.

It is often the case that the dissatisfied customers complain loudly while
the happy ones have little to say. In the interest of fairness and
consumer awareness, I would like to know is whether anyone has purchased
and used Bidata for any period of time with satisfaction and its good
points. I would also like to hear of any failed attempts or complaints
about Bidata.

I'll compile and summarize the responses to this list within the next few
days. Please respond *directly to me* at [log in to unmask] with as much
of the the following info as you can easily recall:

1.) Version (operating system and language)
2.) Aproximate date and source of download
3.) Experience in installation and beginning use
4.) Brief comments on satisfaction and usefulness and documentation
5.) Number of hives and yards recorded and over how long
6.) Type and scope of bee operation (Queen rearing, honey production,
pollination, commercial, sideline, hobby, etc.)
