Thank you for the ground truthing Paul.  I look forward to hearing your report.  Can any others on the List who live in corn country confirm or refute the abundance of monarchs on milkweed next to corn?

Do you lump the viceroy with the Monarchs??  Around here Both milkweed and Monarchs are rare,  but viceroys fairly common.
