Does this still hold true in all cases when the parasite reproduction 
depends on the hosts reproduction?  There are a number of articles and 
studies equating low brood production to low mite reproduction as well 
as breaks in the brood cycle (0 host population turnover) being 
attributed to the control of varroa.
