Depends where you want to take the 30% loss number from.

My 10% loss in spring is due to selling bees from increases.

My 10% loss in fall is due to the 10% nuc population maintained  used to
requeen the bottom 10% performing  hives.

Winter losses since 2006 is 7.8% average. Calculated from the number of
hives on Nov 1.
