I respect publications that will give voice by printing on their platform, and sometimes that means a disclaimer is needed, often to the benefit of the readership.

>I agree.. It does give the reader a bit more information to go on and assist folks like myself in discerning content from fluff... signal from noise.  Some folks evidently think fluff matter and content does not. Frankly speaking everyone does not believes in full disclosure. To some extent, given the audience, it may not be in the publications $ interest to seek an audience that understand the purpose or reason for a  disclaimer.
