Not sure what your point is Bob.  They also have more almonds than the 
US, trees that is, their production is of the fruit is very low.

FWIW Australia does not have any legal treatment for nosema.  No doubt 
it has some effect, but is only regarded as a problem when the beekeeper 
does something unhelpful, like taking honey in the winter during a cold 
wet spell.  Of course we don't have varroa.
