Re: Alabama law
 
After CCD first got national media attention, a couple long-time Alabama beekeepers contended that their law went into effect after an incident occurred in their state that was very similar, if not the same, as CCD that occurred some years before the 2006 event.
 
I've not been able to verify, but this discussion nudged my memory.
