Corn and soybeans are pollinated by the wind based upon my coordination with a local university.  I agree with Peter...a beekeeper that keeps his/her bees near an orchard year around is asking for trouble.

I am working on establishing a pollination list to develop my apiary further...one question and orchard asked me was 'when would you take the bees away?' - I said as soon as the blooms are finished....which is about the same time many growers spray their trees the first time in a season.
