a couple of years ago I had hundreds and hundreds of unread LN digest in my
off-line mailbox that i just could not detete, because I was going to read
them, eventually.
aol took care of it for me tho. one day my aol crashed, most of the digest
and other mail disappeared and I had to reload aol.
since then I have regularly deleted dozens of unread digest at a time :'-(
