Friend of mine has had tongue-tied with all three babies. The first they
didn't realize it and the baby was bottle-fed. Second they still weren't
sure and after two grueling weeks of working with SNS and finger feeding,
baby had tongue clipped and nursed for two years. Third baby was clipped
within 24 hours of birth and took to feeidng well in a couple days. Seems to
be hereditary on husband's side.
