Rob, your baby patient with mother recovering from operation re Graves
Disease. Let baby's inate need and desire to breastfeed dictate the pace. No
need for any interference of breast compression, pumping, extra feeds, etc.
Baby will dictate the pace, baby will tell mum what it needs and if she
answers it by feeding, all will be well. 90 minutes between a mouthful seems
absolutely fine to me, and if that is different from before, it is to be
expected, they have both had a rough time. We are far too hooked on
'add-on's' nowadays and many a time they get inbetween mum and babe's
interaction and mum's breasts and baby's mouth!
kind regards, Helen Woodman, coming peeking of the woodwork, NCT
