Heather says,
<<"I've been contacted (via email) by a pregnant woman (12 weeks), keen to
breastfeed, but *extremely* concerned that she will be unable to do so
because her nipples are very, very sensitive....."so sensitive that it is a
problem in my normal life - it is completely impossible for them to be
touched without me reacting with great discomfort". >>

Coming out of nomail for a long time and then lurkdom for an equal amount of
time - I wonder if this might be an unresolved psycho/sexual/abuse problem?

Just in case I don't mail again for some time, I wish all my lactnet pals
greetings for the celebrations to come and good health to you all, especially
thinking of our colleagues who are receiving specialist medication at the
moment. Kindest regards, Helen Woodman, NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor,
Storrington, West Sussex, UK.
