Fenugreek does affect blood sugars. It has a regulating effect, hence
lessening the amount of insulin needed in most diabetics. A diabetic
breastfeeding mother who is monitoring her levels--as she should be when
adjusting to the breastfeeding experience--can take fenugreek, and adjust
accordingly.
