Re: Nipple Shield Consent and Protocol: I too would like a Nipple Shield
Consent and hopefully the protocol that the hospital/clinic uses for its
staff. We are having an awful problem with the overuse of nipple shields
(not even the high contact ones) being distributed in the hospital with no
means of getting these babies off them. I get calls 3-6 weeks out and moms
saying "how do I stop this?" When I've raised the topic with hospital
staff, they've been very defensive. TIA!
