Hello all. =)

Have a couple questions:
1. Has anyone heard anything about discouraging tuna consumption during
pregnancy? If so, why?

2. Can proteins (cow's milk and/or soy) from formula "leak" through an
infant's somewhat permeable gut, getting into the bloodstream, causing
infection? Could this be attributed to a lot of the gastroenteritis/gut
malfunctions seen in formula-fed infants?

Thanks in advance.

Warmly,
Bethany Johnson, RD
